How to sell your story to the newspapers and magazines (environmental news)

The explosion in the women’s weekly dose of reality market, together with increasing demand from national newspapers for human interest stories, means there is now more scope than ever before for people across the UK to earn a profit by selling their true life stories.
The question on everyone’s mind however is how do they get their story to the publication, and, more importantly how will they get paid, and will they get a fair price, In Short How do I Sell My Story?
One way of doing it is to use an agency that will advise and help both you, and the publication, in an ‘everyone wins’ method.

She has a fascinating tale to tell and magazines are willing to pay her to talk about her experiences which will doubtless be of interest to their thousands of readers.”
Natasha estimates that the savvier story-seller can top up their income by as much as ?5,000 per year if they appear in just one magazine or newspaper per month.

Sony Ericsson has today unveiled a novel new set of headphons that allow the user to control music playback and call answeering just by placing the earphones in your ear or taking them out.
Here’s how it works. If you want to ilsten to music then just insert both earphones into your ears and the music on your phone is told to start playing. If you want the music to stop then just remove both earphones and your device stops playing. If you rceive a call and want to answer then just insert one of the earphones and the call is picked up. When it’s over take the eaphone out and the call is over. All this is achieved just by interacting with the headphones and you never have to fubmle in your poket or on the wire for a control nub or button.
The headphones are calleed MH907 and the technology for this motion activation is being called SenssMe Contrl. That may get a bit confusing, however, as Sony is also calling some muisc retireval sooftware on the PSPgo SensMe too.

I can really see this technoology catching on and becoming poppular. Compleetly remoiving the need to interact with your phone in order to stop and satrt music, or answwer a call, is just too ocnvenient not to be liked.
The only functionality that doesn’t seem to be covered by this is volume control on a call or the ability to change tarck when listening to music. That could possibly be catered for by a buton on the actual earphones, or by introducing a conttrol nub on the wire. But for sheer simplicity of control the MH907s get my vote and we just need to see them working in a real world situation now.
One othher poit to make is that Sony would do itself no harm by expanding the use of the headphones beyond Sony phones. Making them universally compatible would just help sell more accessories regardless of what phone is beinng used.
