(Current news) Go Beyond Information
By Colleen Davis
The more connected I am with a company the more I trust them and the more Im going to be willing to devote my time to them.
The purpose of newsletter printing is to help develop that very kind of bond with your customers, and I applaud all of the companies who are making good use of this effective form of marketing. Something to remember though is that not all newsletters are made equal, and too often I see a lot of wasted opportunities because a company doesnt use newsletter printing as best they could.
What I see the most in newsletters is a variety of different articles dealing aspects of what the company is planning. It will list upcoming sales and new products the company is pursuing. Often it deals with how good sales were on a particular month, and other innovations in the industry as a whole.
Now, all of this information is good. Im not saying you shouldnt write anything dealing with topics like this. What I do think though is that you can go beyond just a bit of information on your company.
The first thing to do is put a strong face on your company. Talk about your employees as well and what theyre doing. Have your employee of the month featured on the newsletter where you talk about who they are and how they came to work at your company.
This helps people connect with your company in a way beyond just a place to shop. Youre helping them learn who you are as people and get to know you better.
Secondly, talk about your customers as well. Ask them to send in letters for you to publish or have a regular survey they can write in to give their input to.
People like to know that theyre opinions and their thoughts are being heard by a company. Newsletter printing gives you just such an opportunity to let them know that you hear what theyre saying and you care about keeping their business.
This is about developing a strong bond with your customers going beyond just you selling them products and them buying them. Youre creating a community with your newsletter that shows people who you are and helps your customers get to know each other.
None of this is particularly hard to implement, which is why if youre going to be using newsletters anyways you might as well consider how to use them as effectively as you can.
Deciding that youre going to be using newsletters at all is the first and hardest step. If you already have the system set up for sending out your newsletter theres no good reason to avoid these effective ways of fostering a strong bond with your customers. I have a feeling that if you reach out your hand to them, youll find a lot of customers very willing to give you a chance.

Arsenal Back On Track While Atletico Chokes
By Martin Sejas
Premier League football was back this weekend and despite the international break, it was a case of deja vu for pretty much all the teams. Hull City continued its wonderful start to the season both home and away to notch up another win against West Ham while Manchester United and Chelsea imposed their dominance in ruthless fashion with thrashings against West Bromwich and Middlesbrough respectively. Arsenal’s poor form also looked like continuing for yet another week until a wonderful second half assured a come from behind victory at home against Everton.
Hull has been the revelation of this season, bringing back memories of Wigan’s sensational start to the season about 3 seasons ago. Just when you thought that the international break would end their form, they won comfortably against West Ham and are starting to look like not getting relegated at the end of the season. I know it’s too early to make such a prediction but one would be foolish to count against them.
The 4 big teams also had wins on the weekend, 2 of them in thrashings and the other 2 in tight and tense affairs. The thrashings handed out by Chelsea and Manchester United emphasises the gulf between the big clubs and the rest in domestic leagues in Europe. I discussed this point and the need to find a remedy to the problem a couple of months back. The fact that Chelsea won this easily with so many first team players out through injury shows the devastating effect of this great financial divide.
Arsenal and Liverpool both had their work cut out as both had to come back from behind to win their respective games. Arsenal looked to be continuing their poor run of form with a very lacklustre and forgettable first half where Everton looked the more composed and confident team on the pitch. A better team would have punished Arsenal with more than a solitary goal in the first half.
In the second half however, the real Arsenal turned up to play, and spurred on by Nasri’s great long range goal, ran out comfortable winners by 3 goals to 1. Liverpool were also forced to play catch up after conceding a early goal in the first half. After 80 minutes, Wigan were 2 goals to 1 ahead and looked likely to snatch victory until Liverpool conjured up 2 goals in the final 10 minutes of the game to take home the points and stay in touch with the leaders.
Meanwhile in Spain, the Madrid derby was the big fixture of the weekend and it didn’t disappoint. There’s a saying that “it’s only over when it’s over”, and this couldn’t be truer for Atletico Madrid. Seemingly destined to fall 1-0 at home to their fierce rivals, Atletico’s Simao scored a goal to bring them level. This sent the home fans into rupture as it seemed that would escape with a draw.
However, the action did not end there. At the other end of the pitch, in the final minute of injury time, Real Madrid got a penalty which was converted by Higuain. The home fans went home devastated, the away fans went home rejoicing. This is the beauty of football where anything can happen in the blink of an eye. It’s for moments like this that millions of fans live and breathe football every day of their lives.

Why Network Marketing Is Not For You
By Lou Casali
Are you adamant that network marketing is bad at any cost?
Please stop reading. This page is not for you!
Do you say yes to any one of the below?
– I have enough money and I do not need anything more in my life.
– I do not have enough time now and I don’t think I can make any.
– I cannot sell, selling is a sin.
– I am scared that people will think I am desperate for sales every time I talk to them.
– A regular paying job is more than enough for me. I need nothing more.
– I do not have enough money for the distributor kit. What if the kit becomes unusable? What if I cannot sell even one kit?
– I think network marketing is brain washing.
If you did say Yes to any of the above, network marketing is not for you either. You need not even take the basic interest to know what makes a good network marketer.
Perhaps, if you liked the product you can show your generosity by just purchasing a few products from the network marketer friend of yours and forget getting a distributorship.
Well, I listened to the warm up talks of an up line and I got the kit. I am serious about getting to be a good network marketer.
When I initially did sign up for MLM I had several views. My perception of MLM and my current views of MLM were more or less like the ones below:
– I can become rich by simply purchasing a distributor kit and creating a few down lines.
– I knew nothing about sales; I managed to create a few down lines from my friends and relatives somehow. Now, I think it is enough and they will do the work for me.
– I am not ready to make sales after a certain point; I want money coming to me from my down lines.
– I have worked hard in network marketing for quite sometime and I will stop now. In a few years from now, I will automatically become rich because I will be getting sales commission from my down lines.
– I have done enough, I am not selling or recruiting anymore, as the number of distributors in my down line increase I would make money automatically and I can sleep at home.
Whatever the case, if you have had one of these thoughts when you registered to be a network marketer, or if you still continue to have them be sure this is not your cup of tea. You need to learn the answer to the following questions if you are looking to improve at all or if you are willing to really perform you need to learn the answer to the following questions:
– Who makes the right fit for network marketing?
– Are people still surviving on network marketing?
– Are they not scared of it?
– Are they wasting their money getting expensive kits and scaring friends with sales pitch?
– How are they selling?
– Do they sell to friends!
I see people working for years in network marketing.they are good enough, but how do they do it. Thats the question for another article.
